With more thank 80 activities to choose from, you’ll find something to spark your passion. We’ve got
societies to get your adrenaline pumping so come and develop your skills with everything from five-a-side futsal to Zumba. There are free taster sessions and 'learn to' beginner's courses as well as our
Get Up & Go recreational activities programme. If you want to push yourself a step further, we have a range of teams competing at
BUCS (British Universities and Colleges Sport) level.

Brand new facilities?
Our brand new sport facilities at
Oxstalls Campus include an international standard arena, 3G pitches and a cricket pitch and new pavilion. This complements our fantastic range of sport and exercise science labs and top-spec equipment. We also have fitness classes tailored to your individual needs and two fully equipped fitness suites open to all students, from beginners to elite.
?Develop your skills in your area of interest and take on a coaching role for one of our many clubs and in the community. This is a great way to enhance your CV, make some money and do something you're passionate about while supporting

?scholarship programmes to help talented athletes achieve their goals. We can help you
maximise your potential as a dual-career athlete – as successful in your studies as you are in your sport.
Lizzy Yarnold OBE
Geography and Sport and Exercise Science??
Lizzy first received an Elite Scholarship in 2007 for being a multi discipline track and field athlete. We helped her manage her scholarship alongside her studies and made sure she was supported to achieve success in both. She is now the most successful British Winter Olympian ever, having won gold in the women’s skeleton twice.??

Playing in the Vitality Netball Superleague since 2017, Severn Stars is a professional netball team ??and joint franchise between the University of Gloucestershire and University of Worcester. The team features a number of England internationals and can be seen training at their University of Gloucestershire base.
